Description


Zip-Chem® D-5100NS is a high quality lubricant and anti-stick agent that is composed of a colorless and pure silicone fluid.


D-5100NS is an odorless material that retains excellent electrical properties and high temperature oxidation resistance that is inherent in silicones.


Application of Product


D-5100NS can be used as a release agent for the molding of plastics and for the manufacturing of rubber and paper.


D-5100NS lubricates dissimilar metals, plastics, and plastic-metal combinations.


D-5100NS can be used as an anti-stick agent for heat sealing equipment, packaging and gluing equipment, conveyors, and food processing equipment.


D-5100NS will reduce friction on iron faces and work surfaces where cloth is handled.


D-5100NS prevents door locks and rubber weather stripping from freezing.


D-5100NS can be used in conjunction with the Formit® extensions to provide targeted spray to areas that may be difficult to reach but need to be coated. Please refer to our Formit® technical data sheet for more information.


Features


D-5100NS has a temperature range from -60°F to 600°F.


D-5100NS does not stain fabrics nor does it harm metals, plastics, or painted surfaces.
