Description


Zip-Chem® D-5261NS is a special formulation of oil that conforms to Mil-PRF-7870D.


D-5261NS is a very effective cleaner and penetrating lubricant.


D-5261NS penetrates tight parts (ie: heart strands of cables) and deposits a rust preventive lubricating film.


D-5261NS provides superior resistance to oxidation, ensures that parts do not rust, and limits galvanic corrosion.


D-5261NS is available in bulk form as ZC-5261.


Application of Product


D-5261NS is used on aircraft flight controls, engine and landing gear cables, pulleys, pressure seals, cargo hoist cables, cargo restraining system components, door interlock actuating mechanisms, slide mechanisms, hinges, and static joints.

Landing Gear Wheels and Cables

D-5261NS can be used in conjunction with the Formit® extensions to provide targeted spray to areas that may be difficult to reach but need to be coated. Please refer to our Formit® technical data sheet for more information.


Features


D-5261NS can be used over temperatures from -65°F to 250°F.


D-5261NS prevents rusting and corroding on metals and limits galvanic corrosion from occuring on dissimilar metal assemblies.
