D-5616NS Aerosol Spray Can With A Black Lid and an Airplane Logo

Description

Zip-Chem® D-5616NS contains the PF solvent/degreaser. It is also designed to be used for light to medium aerospace degreasing via spray, dip, wipe, or flood methods of application. D-5616NS is a combustible blend of high purity hydrocarbons with a small amount of food grade terpene. The evaporation rate ranges from 5 to 10 minutes when it is wiped or blown with compressed air.

Application of Product

D-5616NS is normally used as a general purpose spray, wipe solvent cleaner, and degreaser for surface preparation on a variety of aircraft substrates. It is effective in the removal of a wide range of uncured adhesives. Residual contamination from tape, dust, dirt, grease, wax, and other process materials can be quickly and easily removed with prompt attention. D-5616NS is effective in degreasing the electrical components on motors, transformers, and generators with care. D-5616NS is available in bulk as ZC-616. D-5616 can be used in conjunction with the Formit® extensions to provide targeted spray to areas that may be difficult to reach but need to be coated. Please refer to our Formit® technical data sheet for more information.
