Description


Zip-Chem® D-5922NS is the aerosolized form of the Aeroshell® 22 Grease, a versatile and multi-purpose microgel that is a thickened, synthetic, and hydrocarbon oil.


D-5922NS has superior anti-wear properties, load carrying capacity, and water resistance along with a useful temperature range of -85°F to 400°F because it is corrosion-inhibited and heavily fortified against oxidation.


Application of Product


The D-5922NS aerosol offers ease of application for hard to reach areas.


On aircraft, D-5922NS is good for engine accessories, airframe lubrication, and general anti-friction bearings which operate at high speeds in high and low temperatures.


D-5922NS can be used in conjunction with the Formit® extensions to provide targeted spray to areas that may be difficult to reach but need to be coated. Please refer to our Formit® technical data sheet for more information.


Features


If long retention and high water resistance is desired in an environment, then D-5922NS is recommended.


Specifications


The Aeroshell® 22 Grease that is used in D-5922NS conforms to Mil-G-81322 F General Purpose Aircraft Grease and DOD-G-24508 (Navy) for shipboard auxiliary machinery (limited usage on submarines).
