Applications

Use on areas that are already corroded and prevent further corrosion from occurring.

Apply by conventional airless or air-operated spray equipment.

Use on landing gear equipment and hardware that is not primed or top coated

Apply over pre-existing corrosion.

The coating can be applied as thin as 1 mil (25 microns) film thickness to achieve the desired corrosion protection.

Aerosol application is available

The Cor-Ban^® 22 aerosol can be used in conjunction with the Formit^® extensions to provide targeted spray to areas that may be difficult to reach but need to be coated. Please see our Formit^® technical data sheet for more information.  The Cor-Ban^® 22 aerosol can also be used with the Zip-Chem^® Aerosol Trigger Sprayer which is designed for use with any Zip-Chem^® aerosol can.

All properties represented were achieved with a wet film thickness of 1.0 mils (25 microns).  This wet film thickness can be measured with Zip-Chem^® ’s Wet Film Thickness Gauge.

One aerosol can covers approximately 90 ft² (8.3 m^²).

Paste application of Cor-Ban^® 22 is available as Cor-Ban^® 27L

Store Cor-Ban^® 22 at 40°F – 100°F (4.4°C – 37.8°C) in the original unopened containers.  Keep containers closed when not in use and protect Cor-Ban^® 22 from direct sunlight.
