The Zip-Strip™ 125M aerosol can be used in conjunction with the Formit® extensions to provide targeted spray to areas that may be difficult to reach but need to be cleaned. Please refer to our Formit® technical data sheet for more information. The Zip-Strip™ 125M aerosol can also be used with the Zip-Chem® Aerosol Trigger Sprayer which is designed for use with any Zip-Chem® aerosol can.
Apply Zip-Strip™ 125M by aerosol, airless, air-assist, dipping, or brushing.
Apply material at a thickness of 2 to 7 mils (51-178 microns), depending on the thickness and age of the material to be removed. This thickness can be measured with Zip-Chem® ’s Wet Film Thickness Gauge. The material should also be allowed to dwell for 30 minutes and then pressure sprayed or rinsed off.
Do not allow material to dry on the surface. If drying commences, apply a light film of additional Zip-Strip™ 125M and rinse off.
The components are biodegradable but the contaminants that the cleaner removes may not be. Handle effluent accordingly.
Zip-Strip™ 125M can be used on all access panel fasteners
Refer to the Zip-Strip™ 125M application manual for detailed application instructions. This manual can be obtained by asking your Zip-Chem® sales rep for a copy of this document.
Zip-Strip™ 125M should be stored at 40°F to 100°F (4.4°C – 37.8°C) in the original unopened containers. Keep containers closed when not in use and protect Zip-Strip™ 125M from direct sunlight.
